These terms form an agreement between Staaro OÜ (registry code 17561530) and the person or organisation using Staaro. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you can enter this agreement and accept these terms and our privacy policy.
The service
Staaro helps businesses send post-service SMS review requests, collect star ratings and private feedback, and direct customers to a business's Google review page. Features depend on the selected plan and may include CSV imports, scheduling, reminders, webhooks, APIs and third-party integrations.
Staaro does not publish a Google review, guarantee that a customer will leave one, or control Google's moderation and ranking. Customers remain free to publish feedback anywhere. You must not use Staaro to threaten, reward, pressure or mislead customers, or to suppress lawful reviews.
Accounts and access
- Provide accurate information and keep it current.
- Keep credentials, webhook secrets and connected accounts secure.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account and authorised users.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You may not resell, reverse engineer, disrupt, scrape or misuse the service.
Your messaging and data responsibilities
You decide which recipients receive messages and act as controller for their personal data. You must have a valid legal basis, provide required notices, honour objections and comply with electronic-communications, consumer, privacy and marketing laws. Only send review requests connected to a genuine customer relationship or service experience.
Do not upload purchased lists, sensitive special-category data, unlawful content, malware or content that infringes another person's rights. Staaro automatically honours opt-outs within each business account. You must not attempt to bypass them or re-upload a recipient under a different format.
Sender names must meet carrier rules. Delivery depends on mobile networks, number validity, sender approval and recipient devices. Charges or quota usage may still apply to accepted sends even if a carrier cannot confirm delivery.
Free trials, plans and billing
- New accounts may receive a 14-day, no-card trial with the SMS allowance shown at signup.
- Paid plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled. Prices and included quotas are shown before purchase.
- When a quota is exhausted, sending pauses; Staaro does not silently add overage charges.
- Plan upgrades may apply immediately with proportional billing. Downgrades normally apply at the next renewal.
- You can cancel renewal in billing settings. Access continues until the paid period ends unless the account is suspended for cause.
- Failed payments may pause sending while preserving account data for a reasonable recovery period.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Taxes, if applicable, are shown according to the checkout and invoice information. Except where mandatory law says otherwise, fees for a started billing period are non-refundable.
Data, feedback and intellectual property
You retain rights in your business data and customer feedback. You grant Staaro the limited rights needed to host, transmit, secure, back up and process that data to provide the service. You are responsible for having the rights to submit it. Our privacy policy describes retention and deletion.
Staaro, its software, design, documentation, trademarks and non-customer content belong to Staaro OÜ or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription.
Availability and third-party services
We aim for a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, incidents, carriers, cloud providers, Google, Stripe and other integrations may affect availability. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, and Staaro is not responsible for their independent acts, content, policy changes or outages.
Suspension and termination
We may limit or suspend access to protect recipients or the service, comply with law, address non-payment, investigate security incidents, or stop material or repeated breaches. Where practical, we will explain the issue and allow a reasonable opportunity to cure it. You may stop using Staaro and cancel renewal at any time. Provisions intended to survive termination do so.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided with reasonable care and skill, but otherwise on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee a particular number, score, visibility or business result from reviews.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities or loss caused by the other party's unlawful data or messaging practices. Staaro's aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to fees you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or wilful misconduct and mandatory consumer rights.
Changes to the service or terms
We may improve, add or retire features. We may update these terms for legal, security or product reasons. For a material change, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the service or email where practicable. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, stop using the service and cancel renewal.
Governing law, disputes and contact
Estonian law governs these terms. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute in good faith. Courts in Estonia have jurisdiction unless mandatory law gives you another forum. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective; failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
